Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the resident activity team. You will assist with enriching activity programs and provide comfort and stimulation to residents, helping create a caring environment.

The role involves leading and participating in individual and group activities, developing monthly calendars, and maintaining activity records. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, along with compassion for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant license in TN.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new modalities and approaches.
• Good listener and able to build rapport with residents and families.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assists the resident activity director as needed.
• Provides comfort and stimulation to residents.
• Leads and participates in individual and group activities.
• Develops and posts monthly calendars as planning resources.
• Maintains records of activities and attendance.
• Stores activity equipment and cleans area after activities.
• Supports resident well-being using Biopsychosocial approaches.
• Provides or arranges comfort/support to residents and families as needed.
