Job summary

Crossroads Hospice is seeking a State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA) to provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients and their families in Green, OH. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and dignity in end-of-life care, while maintaining accurate electronic records.

The role requires completion of the Ohio 75‑hour competency test, an active state nurse aide certificate, and at least 1 year of hospice or home health aide experience.

Qualifications

• Completed Ohio DOH competency test with at least 75 hours.
• Active, unrestricted state nurse aide certification.
• At least 1 year of hospice or home health aide experience.
• Hospice or home health agency experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and family.
• Able to learn required clinical software and electronic records.
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license with insurance.

State Tested Nursing Aide STNA Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
• Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
• 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle

State Tested Nursing Aide STNA Schedule & Benefits:

• Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday, 8:00 pm - 8:30 am
• Travel to the office in Green, OH is required.
