Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the 3 West Post-Operative unit at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This 36-hour-per-week night shift (7p–7a) role includes three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include basic patient care within scope, assisting with emotional and physical needs, and coordinating with RN staff. Qualifications include Maine CNA certification and current BLS; computer skills are

The Role: Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on 3 West Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic CNA to join our team of highly skilled professionals on our fast-paced Med/Surg Post-Operative unit, 3 West, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This position is 36 hours per week on the night shift (7p-7a), with rotating weekend and holiday requirements. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week.

You Have:

• State of Maine Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Compensation Information:

$19.65 - $34.39 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
