MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Critical Care Unit at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, Maine. This position offers 36 hours per week with nights (7p-7a) and the opportunity to work with an experienced critical care team caring for patients with complex medical needs.

We offer shift differentials up to $7/hr on select shifts and a competitive compensation package based on CNA experience.

Qualifications

  • Current State of Maine CNA certification required.
  • Previous healthcare or hospital experience preferred.
  • Previous acute care or critical care experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to recognize and report changes in a patient's condition.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Critical Care Unit; Alfond Center for Health, Augusta

Schedule: 36 hours per week

Shift: Nights (7p-7a)

What You'll Do
  • Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
  • Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

Shift Differentials: Earn up to an additional $7/hr. for select shifts.

Compensation Information: $19.65 - $34.39. The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
