Job summary

Bronson Healthcare's Bronson Commons in Mattawan, MI is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 2nd shift. Full-time and part-time positions with a sign-on bonus are available. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and support a compassionate care team.

Responsibilities include reviewing care plans with nurses, documenting vital signs, turning residents, and maintaining EMR records. Requires high school diploma or GED, Michigan CNA registry or approved training, and BLS within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Michigan CNA Registry or completion of a approved Nurse Aide Training program with certification within 4 months of hire.
• BLS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.
• PCA consideration during temporary exception; CNA certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Review care plans with nurses at the start of each shift.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Record vital signs and patient information.
• Turn and reposition residents for pressure relief.
• Communicate resident status and interventions to nursing staff.
• Provide customer service to visitors.
• Serve meals and assist residents with feeding.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and change linens as needed.
• Document patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR).
