Holland Home in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct, compassionate care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. As a CNA, you will support residents with daily activities, monitor health, and collaborate with licensed staff to maintain dignity and safety.

Candidates should hold a current CNA license in good standing, strong English communication, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Formación

• Current CNA license in good standing (state-required).
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Memory care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist residents weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, feeding, mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs; report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control guidelines.
• Document care in accordance with facility policies and CMS requirements.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver quality care.
• Uphold resident rights and comply with regulations and standards.
