Job summary

Holland Home is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a faith-based skilled nursing and long-term care setting. You will work under licensed nurses to support physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs while upholding dignity and comfort.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, accurate documentation, and adherence to CMS requirements to ensure safety and high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (state-required).
• Memory care experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, feeding, and mobility
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Provide emotional support, reassurance, and companionship to residents
• Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and dignity
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment following infection control and safety guidelines
• Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies and CMS requirements
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Uphold resident rights and comply with state regulations and facility standards
