Job summary

Blakehurst Senior Living in Towson, MD is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-1) for full-time and part-time shifts across the Comprehensive Care, Assisted Living, and Memory Care units. Pay is $19–$24 per hour, based on experience, with evening/night shift differential and weekend coverage.

Duties include assisting residents with personal care and mealtime tasks, documenting care, and communicating with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• One year experience working as a CNA-1.
• Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist residents with mealtime and feeding.
• Complete and document shift assignments, report when needed.
• Communicate with residents, families and nursing leaders as required.
• Provide planned activities as directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Blakehurst is recruiting for hospitality focused Certified Nursing Assistants-1 to join our team.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, positioning, turning, exercising, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Leaders, and the Director of Nursing when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA-1.
• Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.
