Home Helpers Home Care of Central Seminole County is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver in-home care to clients in the Ocoee, Florida area. You will work with our care team to support independence, safety, and dignity in clients' homes, providing personal care, companionship, and medication reminders as needed.

This part-time, on-site role offers flexible weekday coverage with weekend options.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification.
• Experience providing personal care in a home-care setting, preferably with seniors or veterans.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Reliable with a compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Offer companion care and engage clients in activities.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with medication management.
• Prepare meals per dietary guidelines and assist during mealtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment with light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation assistance to appointments and outings.
• Support family caregivers through respite care.

Role Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure the highest standards of care and support for individuals seeking to maintain their independence. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the clients you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

3. Remind clients to take medications as scheduled and assist with medication management.
4. Prepare meals as per dietary guidelines and assist clients during mealtime.
5. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
6. Provide transportation assistance to medical appointments and other outings.
7. Support family caregivers through respite care to help manage caregiving responsibilities.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. A valid CNA certification.
2. Experience providing personal care in a home care setting, preferably with seniors or veterans.
3. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English.
4. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate nature.
5. Reliability and a commitment to providing quality care.

Bonus If You:

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Ocoee, Florida.
