Job summary

Assisting Hands of South Volusia is seeking caring individuals to join our in-home care team. You will work one-on-one with seniors to keep them happy and healthy at home, providing companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and occasional transportation.

Requires High School Diploma/GED; CNA or HHA certification preferred. We welcome full-time and part-time applicants, with overtime opportunities in a community-focused, family-run agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• In home or long-term care setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage seniors in activities.
• Assist with personal care tasks.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation as required.

Description: Assisting Hands Home Care, a national leader for In-Home Care services is looking for the best caregivers to join our team. In this role, you'll work one-on-one with our seniors to keep them happy and healthy at home. This may include providing companionship, activities, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and occasional transportation.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required - CNA/HHA required

Qualifications: In home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Reports to: Scheduling Coordinator

• Level II Background
• Classroom CPR
• CNA or HHA
• HIV/AIDS Certificate
• Alzheimer's Certificate
• Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication Certificate
• TB Screening

Hours: Looking for full and part-time positions with overtime available. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
