Job summary

Discovery At Home LLC is looking for a caring individual to assist clients in Florida with their daily living activities. Responsibilities include providing companionship, administering medications, and preparing meals according to dietary restrictions. Candidates must have the 40 Hr Certificate, HHA certification, and valid transportation. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a current CPR certification.

• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment.
• Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients.
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.

Requirements

• 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75-hour certificate, CNA license (Required).
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a current CPR certification.

Background Screening Requirement

Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
