Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and support in all activities of daily living, ensuring health, welfare and safety for every resident. The role requires 12-hour shifts and current CNA certification, plus CPR certification, with a minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, and adhering to all standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.
