Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate CNAs for full- or part-time in-home care in Munster, IN. You will work one-on-one with seniors, supporting daily living activities and medication reminders while building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Proof of current, negative TB test as required by Indiana
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer’s care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship and one-on-one care
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep
• Transport clients to appointments and outings
• Standby safety support and overnight safety assistance

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
