Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide nursing and daily living assistance at The Villas, Honolulu, HI. CNAs orient residents to the unit, respond to calls, and help with activities of daily living in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, Hawaii CNA certification (or enrollment in an approved program), and a current 2-step TB clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification with Hawaii or enrollment in an approved CNA program.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule, lanai/common areas; introduce residents at table; inform of meals and activities.
• Respond to resident calls, bells, lights and family requests promptly; inform Charge Nurse when required.
• Assist with nursing care and daily living activities as part of the care team.

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

• Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.
• Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).
