Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking Certified Nurse Aides to provide nursing care and daily living activities for residents at the Kapolei facility. CNAs orient residents to the unit, assist with daily routines, and respond to call bells and alarms promptly.

The role requires CNA certification in Hawaii or current enrollment in an approved program, plus the ability to work the 2:00pm–10:30pm shift, including weekends. Scholarships and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
• Experience providing nursing care and activities of daily living is a plus.
• Ability to work in an evening shift and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Orient residents to the unit and facility; explain meal schedule and activity calendar.
• Respond to resident calls and alarms immediately; inform Charge Nurse when required.

The Position

We're looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

• Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held.
• Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.

Shift Needed: Full-Time, Evening shift - 2:00pm to 10:30pm, weekends required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum age of 18.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).
