Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.

• Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule and lanai/common areas; introduce residents at table; inform of meal schedule and snack times; and inform of activity calendar and where activities are held.
• Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Respond to family requests immediately. Inform Charge Nurse when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
