Job summary

Goldwater Care Gibson City is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding under supervision. The role is on-site in Gibson City, IL, with 12-hour shifts.

You will monitor residents’ vital signs, document care in logs, adhere to policy, and maintain licensure and CPR certification while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice (Illinois).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensure.
