Job summary

Goldwater Care in Gibson City, IL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care and support in all activities of daily living, ensuring health, welfare and safety.

You will assist with personal hygiene, monitor vitals, document care and adhere to professional standards and state regulations. CPR certification is required and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. This full-time role includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance plus a 401k after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensure.
