Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, and skin assessment and document findings.
• Report changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Carry out restorative nursing activities as ordered.
• Support residents with transportation to appointments and activities.

Job Description

• Performs activities of daily living in accordance with residents' plan of care.
• Checks residents' vital signs, weight, and skin assessment and accurately records, as instructed. Any variances are reported to Charge Nurse.
• Observes and reports residents' complaints, changes in mood/physical appearance while providing care and/or responding to resident call lights.
• Performs residents'' individualized restorative nursing program, as ordered
• Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to/from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.

Qualifications

• Active CNA License in Maryland
• Active and current CPR AND First Aid Certification
• HS Diploma/GED
