Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with admissions and transfers, and maintaining a clean, safe care environment while supporting nurses and providers in urgent health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in hospitals or nursing homes desirable.
• Strong communication and observation skills.

• Support patient flow by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs.
• Assist clinical staff with procedures and treatments within scope of practice.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.
• Ensure proper stocking of supplies and equipment in patient care areas.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients and families in high-stress situations.
• Communicate effectively with nurses and other team members regarding patient status and needs.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Emergency Departmentteam. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and your contributions directly impact patient care and outcomes.

As a CNA in the Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and providers while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing urgent and emergent health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient data
• Support patient flow by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Requirements
