Job summary

Adams Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide person-centered daily resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with bathing, feeding, transfers, ambulation, measurements, and charting of care delivered, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires Indiana CNA licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and availability for 12 hours per week on the third shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Indiana CNA license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to perform daily resident care tasks such as bathing, feeding and ambulation.
• Capable of charting care and following physician/ nurse directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident care in a patient-centered manner.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, transfers, and ambulation.
• Monitor and document intake/output, weights, and vital signs.
• Chart care provided and follow orders from licensed staff.

Job Details

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily resident care that is person-centered by customizing care as much as possible. The CNA takes into consideration each resident’s ability to make their own choices and having control over his/her daily lives. The CNA works under the direction of the LPN/RN and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units. Duties may include but are not limited to: bathing, feeding, passing trays, making beds, assisting with ambulation, I&O, weights, and vital signs. The CNA is responsible for charting any care given to the resident. The CNA is expected to follow the instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 12 hours per week - Third Shift
• 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend
• Valid CNA License in the State of Indiana
• BLS/CPR Certification
