Job summary

Constellation Hospice seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with personal care and to work with patients and families in a hospice program. The aide is trained in hygiene and grooming tasks and performs under RN supervision.

Requirements include state-approved CNA training, an active license, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Hospice or home health experience is preferred, and basic iOS knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation.
• CNA license must be active and in good standing.
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to drive within territory.
• Reliable transportation required.
• At least one year of hospice and/or home health experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of iOS operating system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide assistance and work cooperatively with patient and family.
• Perform bed bath, sponge bath, shower bath and hair shampooing as needed.
• Carry out tasks under supervision of registered nurse.

Constellation Hospice is seeking a CNA for our Hospice Program!The primary function of the (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.
