Job summary

Responsibilities include reading plans, monitoring contractor conformance, performing concrete, asphalt, soil tests, and preparing accurate reports. The role requires safety focus, 2–5 years' experience, and relevant certifications. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of construction, inspection, or materials testing experience.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, ICC, or DOT are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations, testing, and inspections on various construction projects.
• Read and interpret plans, geotechnical reports, specs, and codes.
• Monitor contractor activities and document conformity with plans and standards.
• Conduct testing for concrete, asphalt, soils, and related materials per ASTM/ACI standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation using company software.
• Communicate testing results and recommendations to project team.
• Maintain testing equipment, vehicles, and field supplies.
• Adhere to safety procedures on active construction sites.
