Terracon in Auburn, AL seeks an entry-level field/laboratory technician to assist with testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will collect samples, document results, and report daily to the project manager.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months of related experience, a valid driver's license, and certifications (ACI within 90 days; Nuclear Density Gauge preferred within 6 months).

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of related field experience required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Must obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of internal safety certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate testing requirements and results with project team and client representatives.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and document chain of custody.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in written and digital reports daily.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas; assist scheduling of technicians.
• Follow strict safety standards and ensure quality on all projects.
