Job summary
NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC seeks a CMT Special Inspector for SI projects in Panama City Beach, FL. You will perform structural inspections and field testing, prepare comprehensive reports, and advise on site conditions to support quality construction.

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience on Construction Special Inspections.
- ICC Certifications in Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel & Bolting and/or Structural Welding a plus.
- ICC MSI preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities
- Structural inspections for rebar, masonry, post-tensioning, and foundations.
- Perform field materials testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
- Prepare detailed field reports with all results and observations.
- Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete and report results.
- Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff regarding construction issues.
