ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to join our Richmond field services team. You will manage diverse projects, collaborate with engineers and field staff, and ensure deadlines are met.

The role emphasizes client relationships, project budgeting, and hands-on mentoring of junior staff, with growth opportunities through mentoring and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Geology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
• EIT or PE preferred.
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reports and manage construction materials testing projects.
• Manage project budgets, invoices, pay apps, and collections support.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; attend client meetings and report follow-ups.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
