Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CMT Project Manager/Engineer in El Paso, TX to lead geotechnical, construction materials testing and inspection work on major regional infrastructure projects. You will guide field teams, review reports, manage budgets and ensure safety compliance across complex sites.

The role requires a civil/geotechnical background, 2–5 years' experience, and strong MS Office skills; travel up to a moderate amount may be needed. Employment is full-time.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or CMT/Construction Inspection experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in related fields may be accepted.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform material takeoffs, cost and profitability analysis, and feasibility assessment by location and resources.
• Analyze field and lab reports, maps, drawings, specs, tests, and geologic data to plan and deliver projects.
• Prepare or direct reports, plans, schedules, and designs for projects.
• Inspect sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans and safety standards.
• Provide field inspections and training to CMT technicians, support office and field needs.
• Perform IBC Chapter 17 Special Inspections as required.
• Support projects from proposal through completion to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Maintain client and team communication; direct activities at project sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
