Consultant - Geotechnical Engineering | Texas Market Specialist | LVI Associates

Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr

Location: Austin or San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of CMT projects, from proposal through completion.
• Coordinate field and laboratory testing for soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Supervise and mentor field technicians and project engineers.
• Review and approve technical reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Maintain client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project updates.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality control procedures across all project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and TxDOT standards.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
