Job summary

ECS Limited in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a CMT Project Professional I to lead low-complexity construction materials testing projects from proposal through completion. You will coordinate field teams, review reports, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding ECS Core Values.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in CMT or related fields, a relevant bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong communication, organizational, and testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 years of experience in construction materials testing or equivalent
• Bachelor degree preferred in engineering fields; HS diploma required

Responsibilities

• Manage CMT projects from proposal to completion for low-complexity work
• Review daily field reports and resolve issues
• Manage budgets, invoices, and pay applications
• Prepare proposals and change orders
• Support testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, steel, fireproofing, and asphalt
• Coordinate field staff and mentor junior staff
• Communicate project status to clients and host meetings
