Job summary

ECS Limited in Baton Rouge seeks a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager I to join the field services team. You will oversee low-complexity projects from proposal through completion, coordinating field staff, reviewing reports, and maintaining client relationships while supporting business development.

Develop independent project management capabilities, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate project documentation and reporting, with a customer-service mindset and ECS Core

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience required.
• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Materials Science, Architectural Engineering or Geology.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Good knowledge of construction materials testing principles and ASTM standards.
• Ability to interpret field and lab testing results and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction materials testing projects from proposal through completion for low-complexity work.
• Review daily field reports and resolve technical and administrative issues.
• Manage budgets, invoices, pay apps, and collections.
• Prepare proposals and change orders.
• Support testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, steel, fireproofing, and asphalt.
