Job summary

Rosewood Rehab & Healthcare in Missouri is seeking a CMT-Certified Medical Technician to join our clinical team and support residents with daily living activities. You will help residents stay engaged, maintain safety, and administer medications under RN/LPN supervision.

The role requires a Missouri MO CMT-Certified Med Tech Certification or equivalent DHSS L1MA with CNA, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality resident care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Missouri MO CMT-Certified Med Tech Certification.
• Acceptable alternative: DHSS L1MA license with a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to assist residents with daily living activities.
• Encourage social interaction to support residents' well-being.
• Create a safe environment where residents can thrive.
• Administer and/or assist with prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per regulations.
• Transport residents to dining areas and assist with meals as needed.
• Supervise CNA staff and follow up to ensure proper care.

CMT- Certified Med Technician - Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.

• You encourage residents to socialize and engage with each other to keep their spirits healthy.

• You create a safe environment where residents can thrive

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN

• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.

• Transport assigned residents to and from appropriate dining areas. Feed or assist any resident as needed.

• Make frequent rounds and check on residents. Supervise nurse’s aides, making sure they are assisting and caring for residents appropriately. Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary. Follow-up to ensure correction of any problems found.
