Job summary

ECS Group of Companies invites applications for a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Intern Level I. The role supports routine field and laboratory testing, data collection, documentation, and project workflows under supervision.

It offers exposure to soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials while developing foundational technical skills and customer service excellence. Candidates must be pursuing a Civil Engineering related degree with minimal or no related experience and be willing to

Qualifications

Must be pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Zero years of related experience required.
One certification must be completed within 90 days; others within 270 days, including Radiation Safety, Soils I and Concrete I.
Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
Willingness to work outdoors and in field conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist with field and laboratory construction materials observation and testing.
Document site conditions and testing results in field reports.
Prepare and organize field and laboratory equipment.
Perform basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction.
Communicate with field staff, contractors, and project team members.
Support laboratory testing activities including sample preparation and curing.
