Job summary

Three Notch Group seeks a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to join our team in Andalusia, Dothan, or Pensacola. The role focuses on field observations, materials testing, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance on construction projects.

The technician will perform tests across site grading, foundations, concrete, and asphalt, maintain equipment, and prepare timely reports for project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, reports, specifications, and codes.
• Perform field observations, testing, and inspections on various construction projects.
• Monitor contractor activities and document conformance with plans and standards.
• Collect field samples and perform testing per ASTM, ACI, ICC, DOT requirements.
• Prepare clear field reports and test summaries using company software.
