Job summary

System One is seeking a Civil Technician for construction materials testing at the Savannah River Site near Aiken, SC. The candidate will perform concrete and soils testing and must be willing to work outdoors, shifting schedules as needed.

Minimum 2 years of field testing experience and strong English communication are required. High School diploma or equivalent is expected, with proficiency in Windows and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of soils and concrete field testing experience.
• Effective English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete and soils field/lab testing per applicable standards.
• Rotate shifts and weekends as needed and pass testing qualifications.
• Follow safety procedures and document nonconformances per programs.
