Job summary

Crown Rehab & Healthcare in Harrisonville, MO is seeking a CMT- Certified Med Technician to join our clinical team in providing high level resident care with a flexible schedule.

You will administer medications under RN/LPN supervision, maintain accurate records, and support daily living activities while fostering a safe, engaging environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold MO CMT certification and be in good standing.
• Previous experience with senior residents is desirable.
• Comfort with administering medication under RN/LPN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to seniors in daily living activities.
• Encourage social interaction and maintain residents' spirits.
• Create a safe living environment for residents to thrive.
• Administer or assist with prescribed medications and maintain related records.

You’ll be great to join our CMT- Certified Medication Technician team because you have:

• Must have a current Missouri- MO CMT- Certified Med Tech Certification

CMT- Certified Med Technician - Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
• You encourage residents to socialize and engage with each other to keep their spirits healthy.
• You create a safe environment where residents can thrive
• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to resident and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN
• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
• Transport assigned residents to and from appropriate dining areas. Feed or assist any resident as needed.
• Make frequent rounds and check on residents. Supervise nurse’s aides, making sure they are assisting and caring for residents appropriately. Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary. Follow-up to ensure correction of any problems found.
