Job summary

Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center is seeking a Certified Medical Technician for the evening shift to deliver high-quality elder care. You will administer medications under supervision, monitor records, and support daily activities while fostering a safe, respectful community.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and attention to detail to ensure residents receive compassionate, compliant care in a positive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold MO CMT license.
• Demonstrates compassion for elder care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist with prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision
• Monitor and document medical records accurately
• Promote resident safety and well-being in all care aspects
• Assist residents with ADLs
• Support CNA staff and provide direct care when needed
• Transport residents to meals/activities and assist feeding
• Conduct regular rounds and follow up on care needs

Responsibilities:

• Administer and assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision

• Monitor, document, and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with all regulations

• Promote resident safety and well-being in all aspects of care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Encourage social engagement and foster a positive community environment

• Supervise and support CNA staff and provide direct care when needed

• Transport residents to meals and activities and assist with feeding when required

• Conduct regular resident rounds and follow up on care needs

Requirements:

• Current Missouri (MO) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license
