Job summary

Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri is seeking a CMT - Certified Medication Technician to join our caring team. You will administer and assist with medications, monitor records, and support safety and resident well-being within RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri (MO) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license
• A passion for elder care and a team-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision
• Monitor, document, and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with all regulations
• Promote resident safety and well-being in all aspects of care
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Encourage social engagement and foster a positive community environment
• Supervise and support CNA staff and provide direct care when needed
• Transport residents to meals and activities and assist with feeding when required
• Conduct regular resident rounds and follow up on care needs
