Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our care team for an 8-hour evening shift. You will provide personalized support to residents, helping with daily living activities and medication administration.

You will work under the supervision of an RN or LPN, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment where residents can thrive.

Qualifications

• Must have Missouri (MO) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to assist residents with ADLs.
• Encourage social interaction to support emotional well-being.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for residents to thrive.
• Administer or assist with medications and maintain accurate records under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintain medical records ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Transport residents to dining areas and assist with feeding as needed.
• Make rounds to check residents’ needs and supervise CNAs.
• Assist CNAs with direct resident care and follow up on corrections.

Shift Type: 8-hour: Evening

CMT Job Requirements:

• Must have a current Missouri (MO) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification

CMT Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support residents in activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Encourage residents to socialize and engage with one another to support emotional well-being
• Create and maintain a safe environment where residents can thrive
• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of an RN or LPN
• Maintain medical records and documentation ensuring accuracy, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Transport residents to and from dining areas; assist with feeding as needed
• Make frequent rounds to check on residents’ needs and provide supervision of CNAs, ensuring proper resident care
• Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when needed and follow up on corrections as necessary
