Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in Odessa, Texas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Construction Material Testing team. You will work directly with Project Managers and engineering staff, train field personnel, and help coordinate multiple field projects on-site.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, developing client relationships, and preparing proposals and inspection reports, with regular field work and opportunities for growth within a growing geotechnical firm.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years CMT experience
• Certifications such as NICET, ICC, or ACI preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Training new field staff

• Developing and maintaining Client relationships
