Job summary

About the Role:

Angel Mercy Caregivers LLC is looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our dedicated care team in Glen Burnie, MD. Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to clients accurately and in accordance with prescribed orders and state regulations
• Document medication administration and report any changes in client condition to supervising staff
• Monitor clients for medication side effects, reactions, or changes in health status
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication administration records (MARs)
• Communicate effective with healthcare team members, clients, and families
• Ensure medication storage and handling complies with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Current and valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in the state of Maryland
• Prior experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or required per state guidelines
• Excellent observational, documentation, and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and client-centered approach to caregiving
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends
