Job summary

Significance, Inc. is seeking a CMS Transportation Business Analyst to support a federal program onsite in Baltimore, MD. The role requires interaction with the Transportation Services management team and a strong ability to communicate across functions and levels.

You will leverage MS Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and SharePoint to prepare executive materials, track issues, and drive process improvements for government transit programs. A Public Trust is required.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years taking detailed notes of meetings and publishing meeting minutes.
• 5-6 years developing and preparing PowerPoint presentations for executive management.
• Expert level skills in Excel including macros, Excel-Word/PowerPoint integration, and data analysis.
• Highly proficient in MS Project (tasks, dates, dependencies).
• Must have excellent writing skills and be able to simplify complex scenarios.
• Experience with transportation or transit subsidy programs in the federal government is highly desired.
• Experience using Salesforce and SharePoint highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent data collection, analytic and report writing skills.
• Exceptional listening and strategic questioning skills.
• Must interface effectively with diverse stakeholders under pressure.
• Superior writing skills for executive-level correspondence.
• Professional appearance required.

Responsibilities

Significance, Inc. is seeking a CMS Transportation Business Analyst to support a federal program (contingent upon award). This position is onsite in Baltimore, MD at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The Transit Specialist will directly support the Transportation Services account management team, with responsibilities crossing all lines of business, and as necessary requiring interaction with all functional support areas. Provide regular two-way communication between the account support and account management elements, offering relevant insights into customer concerns and issues.

• Ensure customer issues are dealt in an efficient manner and comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Ensure all processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
• Demonstrate consistently sound judgment and creative thinking
• As directed, conduct reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate customers' demands and usage of account
• Receive and answer concerns from customers or users in relation to the customer questions
• Represent knowledgeable, efficient, and professional image to customers, vendors, leadership and handle business in a respectful and professional demeanor
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all systems, policies and processes associated with customer business
• Investigate, track and resolve customer concerns; identify trends and recommend solutions
• Support the overall customer satisfaction of customer accounts.

Required Skills:

• 5-6 years of experience taking detailed notes of meetings and publishing meeting minutes
• 5-6 years of experience developing and preparing PowerPoint presentations for executive management
• Expert level skills in Excel including developing macros, integrating Excel into Word documents and/or PowerPoint presentations and analyzing data
• Highly proficient in MS Project (identifying and documenting tasks, start and end dates, task dependencies)
• Must have excellent writing skills and be able to simplify complex scenarios
• Experience with transportation or transit subsidy programs in the federal government highly desired
• Experience using Salesforce and SharePoint highly desired
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent data collection, analytic and report writing skills

• Must possess the ability to effectively interface with a variety of people with tact and diplomacy and work well under stressful situations
