Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Staff Engineer, Technical Lead to own a new CMS platform enabling publishing across our consumer site, blog, and business pages. This remote US role blends architecture leadership with hands-on delivery across front-end and back-end systems and cloud environments.

You will drive scalability, observability, and platform governance while partnering with product, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to shape a robust, multi-channel content workflow.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading large engineering projects, including technical direction and delivery planning.
• Experience with agentic coding and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a new CMS initiative serving multiple business teams.
• Define technical direction for a CMS platform across digital properties.
• Partner with PM and stakeholders to understand workflows, publishing needs, governance, and opportunities.
• Drive architecture decisions across front-end and back-end systems for scalability and reliability.
• Establish engineering practices for design, delivery, observability, quality, and operations.
• Contribute to code delivery, reviews, and implementation decisions.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform investments.
• Collaborate with Commerce teams and other business/technical groups.
