Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with a passion for process improvement. This role focuses on driving continual improvement across procedures and processes in a fast-paced 300mm fab environment, with emphasis on CMP, Wet, and YE steps.

You will qualify tools, implement improved methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality wafer moves. The ideal candidate holds a 2+ year semiconductor experience and a strong background in process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering/Science).
• At least 2 years of semiconductor process/manufacturing experience.
• Strong foundation in SPC, ECR, and process release strategies.
• Experience with CMP/Wet and YE process tooling and data analysis is a plus.

• Provide training and maintain training documentation for junior staff.
• Identify and communicate root causes of process/equipment issues to engineering.
• Support ramp with equipment/startup experiments and SWRs.
• Collaborate across teams to solve fab priorities.

The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include:

• Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
• Rapidly qualify new tool installations as well as max out capabilities of existing toolsets to support maximum possible quality wafer movement through the CMP/Wet/YE Process tools.
• Develop and implement improved CMP/Wet and YE Process methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality, and a relentless commitment to chase and visualize the data.
• Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements.
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies.
• Provide training to junior colleagues and process technicians. Maintain and improve training documentation and procedures.
• Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner.
• Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs).
• Participate in data analysis and problem resolution.
• Collaborate across teams/ branches to solve fab priorities, which can change quickly.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 2 + years relevant Semiconductor Process /manufacturing experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies
• Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI modles or tools is a plus
• Experience with AMAT and EBARA CMP process tools
• Experience with bath or single wafer clean wet process toolsets
• Experience in defect metrology
• Experience working with big data and enterprise systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of Cu and Al BEOL integrations
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for result

Pay Range:

Pay Range: $81,500 - $126,000
