Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic engineer focused on process to drive continual improvement across manufacturing. You will help develop and implement improved CMP and Wet Process methods, support rapid ramping tool installs, and minimize cycle times in a 300mm wafer fab running Analog Technologies.

The role emphasizes training, cross-team collaboration, and data visualization to identify systematic problems and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
  • Develop and implement improved CMP and Wet Process methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality, and a relentless commitment to chase and visualize the data.
  • Develop new processes from the ground up for advanced node development with high-volume manufacturing in mind.
  • Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements.
  • Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies.
  • Provide training to junior colleagues and process technicians. Maintain and improve training documentation and procedures.
  • Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner.
  • Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs).
  • Participate in data analysis and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate across teams/ branches to solve fab priorities, which can change quickly.
