Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic Manufacturing Process Engineer with a passion for process optimization. This role focuses on driving continual improvement across procedures and processes, and requires a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team on the manufacturing floor.

You will support manufacturing operations, develop and implement improved methods to raise efficiency, yield, and quality, and drive improvement projects for cost reduction and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing processes and continuous improvement is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to work on the manufacturing floor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations and improve methods to boost efficiency, yields, machine uptime, and quality.
• Lead and implement improvement projects for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality programs.
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to sustain continuous production in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab.
• Identify root causes of process or equipment issues and communicate findings to the engineering staff.
• Support ramp activities with startup and process experiments (SWRs) and participate in data analysis and resolution of issues.

The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include:

• Support manufacturing operations
• Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality
• Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies
• Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner
• Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs)
• Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
