Job summary

Headway Technologies in Milpitas, CA is seeking a CMP ME Technician to support manufacturing and engineering teams in the CMP area. You will assist wafer fab production, document processes, and ensure efficient, cost-effective wafer processing.

The role requires an Associate degree and 2 years in semiconductors, with strong SPC and data analysis skills. Work is on a full-time schedule (F shift, Sun-Thu or Thu-Sun) in a cleanroom environment, with a 12:00 PM-12:00 AM shift and a competitive

Qualifications

Associates degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Two years of experience working in the semiconductor industry in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electronics and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

Supports wafer recovery and coordinates CMP-related activities to maximize throughput.
Coordinates logistics and communicates priorities with production and other modules.
Trains operators on wafer taping/sigma correction.
Reviews and dispositions wafer returns for rework; maintains SPC charts.
Performs data collection/analysis and recommends corrective actions.
Troubleshoots CMP tools and processes to minimize downtime.
