Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA seeks a Compliance Supervisor to lead and perform compliance activities within a GMP manufacturing setting. The role includes oversight of deviations, investigations, EMIR/EDR processes, and ensuring accurate documentation in alignment with SOPs and SLAs.

The position requires effective leadership, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration with Quality and Operations to sustain audit readiness and product quality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • SAP, Trackwise, MasterControl, ComplianceWire experience or familiarity.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct compliance oversight within the manufacturing environment.
  • Support deviation initiation, investigation progression, and closure readiness.
  • Review EMIRs, EDRs, and investigation documentation for completeness.
  • Coach and assign workload to Compliance Specialists and other personnel.
  • Maintain audit readiness and support cross‑functional partner communication.
  • Identify barriers to timely investigation completion and escalate as needed.

Job Description:

The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for providing direct compliance oversight, leadership, and hands‑on support within the manufacturing environment. This role functions as a working supervisor, supporting and performing compliance activities including, but not limited to, TrackWise deviations, investigation tasks, Environmental Monitoring Investigation Reports (EMIRs), Environmental Deviation Reports (EDRs), manufacturing area audits, documentation review, and compliance‑related follow‑up activities. The supervisor ensures that investigations, corrective actions, and related tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition to supporting documentation and investigation execution, the Compliance Supervisor provides guidance, coaching, disciplinary/performance plans, workload prioritization, and escalation support for Compliance Specialists and other assigned personnel. This position serves as a key communication link between manufacturing operations, Quality, Compliance leadership, and cross‑functional partners to ensure continuity of priorities, timely issue escalation, and consistent follow‑through on compliance activities. Through proactive oversight, technical support, and cross‑functional partnership, the role promotes audit readiness, improves deviation closure performance, supports process improvement, and helps ensure product quality, regulatory alignment, and patient safety.

CMO Compliance Supervisor I
  • Provides direct compliance oversight, leadership, and hands‑on support within the manufacturing environment.
  • Functions as a working supervisor by performing compliance specialist‑level tasks as needed to support operational needs and workload demands.
  • Supports deviation initiation, event triage, investigation progression, documentation review, evidence gathering, impact assessment, corrective action follow‑up, and closure readiness activities.
  • Monitors deviation due dates, aging records, investigation milestones, and assigned compliance tasks to support timely completion within established GMP, SOP, and SLA expectations.
  • Reviews deviation records, EMIRs, EDRs, investigation documentation, and other compliance records for completeness, accuracy, procedural alignment, and inspection readiness.
  • Provides day‑to‑day guidance, coaching, workload prioritization, and technical support for Compliance Specialists and other assigned personnel.
  • Administers any necessary disciplinary actions and establishes performance plans for Compliance Specialists.
  • Serves as a primary compliance point of contact for manufacturing operations, compliance questions, documentation concerns, investigation support, and issue escalation.
  • Maintains effective communication between Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance leadership, and cross‑functional partners to support continuity of priorities and timely follow‑through.
  • Identifies barriers to timely investigation completion, deviation closure, or corrective action execution and escalates appropriately.
  • Supports onboarding, training, and development of assigned personnel to promote consistent compliance execution.
  • Partners cross‑functionally to obtain technical input, resolve investigation barriers, and support timely record closure.
  • Supports area audits, documentation reviews, compliance walkthroughs, and inspection readiness activities.
  • Identifies recurring compliance issues, documentation trends, investigation delays, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Supports deviation metrics, workload tracking, trend summaries, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promotes accountability, audit readiness, product quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
CMO Compliance Supervisor II

  • Annual high performance of 3+ rating or greater
Qualifications:
Required:
All Levels:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Trackwise, & MasterControl.
Additional Requirements for Sup I:
  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, production, operations, logistics, or other regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated lead, trainer, coordinator, or informal leadership experience.
Additional Requirements for Sup II:
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing, production, operations, logistics, or other regulated environment.
  • 2 years direct leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, managing performance, and meeting production objectives.
Preferred:
  • Associate or Bachelor degree desired.
  • Lean principle certifications (6 Sigma or otherwise) desired.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with deviation management, investigations, training compliance, and quality systems.
  • Experience working in a GMP, FDA‑regulated, or highly controlled manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Environment:
  • Exposure to latex.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels.
  • Possible contact with cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Work in a cleanroom.
Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full-Time

Shift: Fri - Sun, E/O Thurs 12pm - 12am (TBD)

Hiring Wage:

Sup I: $81,800 - $130,900 + 10%-12.5% shift differential, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.

Sup II: $89,300-$142,800 +10%-12.5% shift differential, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
