Job summary

Kubat HealthCare is seeking a CMN Coordinator to bridge our clinical team, physicians, and insurers, ensuring timely delivery of respiratory equipment. You will manage CMNs with precision to reduce delays and improve patient care.

The role requires healthcare administration experience, CMN knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication. Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office is expected, along with multitasking under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare administration, DME, or medical billing preferred.
• Knowledge of CMNs, insurance verification, or Medicare/Medicaid guidelines is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive patient information (HIPAA compliance).
• Excellent communication skills for working with physicians, patients, and internal teams.
• Proficient with EMR systems and MS Office Suite.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming CMNs for completeness, accuracy, and payer/regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with physicians' offices to obtain missing information, signatures, or clarifications.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and order data in EMR.
• Track CMN status to ensure timely submission and approval by insurers.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, billing, and customer service to expedite care.
• Manage CMN reports, ensure signed CMNs are followed up weekly and unsigned CMNs are documented.
• Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines for respiratory equipment.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
• Assist with duties in Prior Authorization and billing departments.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
