Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a CMMS Specialist to own the day-to-day health of our IBM Maximo EAM platform on site in Texas. You will connect maintenance, operations, engineering, and IT, keeping the system running smoothly, cleaning asset data, and making proactive maintenance decisions.

You will administer Maximo, design workflows, govern data, and generate PM/MTBF reports. The role requires 2–5+ years of hands-on Maximo experience and strong SQL reporting skills.

About the Role

We're looking for a CMMS Specialist to own the day-to-day health of our IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform. You'll be the go-to person connecting maintenance, operations, engineering, and IT — keeping the system running smoothly, the asset data clean, and maintenance planning proactive rather than reactive. This is a hands-on administration role where your configuration choices and data governance directly impact how well the maintenance organization functions day to day.

What You'll Do

• System Administration: Own user access, application configuration, workflow design, security group setup, and general system settings across Maximo (v7.6 or MAS 9.0 environments).
• Data Governance: Keep the asset database accurate and audit-ready — this includes asset hierarchy, functional locations, and equipment specs.
• PM Strategy: Build and refine preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, job plans, and safety plans, grounded in OEM guidance and reliability trends.
• Work Order Oversight: Manage work orders end-to-end — from creation through closeout — making sure labor, materials, and repair history are captured accurately.
• Reporting: Pull together regular CMMS reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) covering PM compliance, labor hours, schedule attainment, and MTBF.
• Training & Support: Be the resource maintenance planners, supervisors, and technicians turn to for Maximo questions and troubleshooting.
• Technical Support: Assist with system upgrades, patch testing, and integration work through the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Take on other related tasks as they come up.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–5+ years working within Maximo Asset Management (frontend administration experience preferred)
• Solid SQL skills for reporting, plus working knowledge of Maximo Application Designer and Workflow configuration
• Good grasp of maintenance work management, inventory control, and asset management fundamentals
• Comfortable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to juggle competing priorities and stay effective under pressure
• Detail-oriented, with a genuine commitment to data accuracy
• Self-sufficient, but disciplined about following established procedures
