About the Role:
As a CBRE Business Systems Consultant, you will create and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs.
This role is part of the Business Systems Job Function. They are responsible for working with internal partners and business units to develop, install, and enhance new and current systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Change procedures to solve complex problems, considering factors like computer equipment capacity, limitations, operation time, and desired results.
- Review business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into system specifications. Build relationships with clients to improve services and meet service levels.
- Have full technical knowledge of most phases of systems evaluations, considering the business implications of applications in current and future environments.
- Use best practice processes for work assignments related to applications, including guiding project management efforts, reviewing output quality, and evaluating team performance.
- Create communication plans for knowledge transfer to executives.
- Manage external product vendors’ performance and collaborate on future system enhancements.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles, techniques, and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share knowledge of your job discipline and related disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus and reach agreements.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
